…were somewhat accurate, actually. The A-League Offside had stagnated, like… a large, slow, stagnating thing. Until now.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’re back. Don’t know which of your allotted 90 emotions you’re expressing now, but ‘fear’ and ’slight discomfort’ ought to be two of them. This post, however, is a mere hors d’œuvre before the meal – there should be a longer, more in-depth post following shortly, but for now this is all you’ve got. Go raid the bar, talk that weird person in the corner, make a few lewd passes at a waitress – before long the main will start.

(Christ, that is the worst metaphor I’ve used. If it doesn’t get better from here on in, you all have permission to beat me with those novelty blow-up thundersticks they hand out at every bloody A-League game.)
