Round 5 A-League Highlights: Fowler Scores Again and Velaphi Commits The Howler Of The Year

Another round of A-League action and more goals added to Shane Smeltz tally. He now has 8 goals from 5 matches after scoring a lazy brace against Sydney on the weekend. Perth were hoping to build on there recent wins but goalkeeper Tando Velaphi did his best to dash those hopes, committing one of the biggest howlers in the world to hand Central Coast the win. Melbourne were unable to beat the Jet’s who scored a late equalizer to compound Melbourne’s misery. Wellington were held by Adelaide, as North Queensland failed to capitalize on Folwer’s effort and sink to another draw against Brisbane.
