Round 11 Preview

Round 11 time. It will be interesting to see how the Roar react to losing Farina (at home against CCM) and if Gold Coast can keep out the Glory. So if your looking for all your Round 11 tips, you’re at the right place:

Adelaide United v Sydney FC, Friday, 8pm
Will be a close game. Sydney are looking good, and while I think they’ll find Adelaide at home hard to break down, they’ll still edge it, Adelaide 1-0

Brisbane Roar v Central Coast, Saturday, 6:30pm
Normally a club bounces back after getting a new manager, but after the turmoil surrounding Farina’s departure, I can’t see the Roar getting anything out of this. Central Coast 2-1

North Queensland Fury v Wellington, Saturday, 8:30pm
I keep tipping North Queensland, and I honestly think they’re going to pick up something soon. And as Fox Sports football pundit Paul Trimboli agrees with me, I’m thinking Fury will finally put a few goals away, Fury 3-1

Newcastle Jets v Melbourne Victory, Sunday, 3pm
As much as the Jets will be a better side with the return of their Young Socceroos, I think the Victory will bounce back from their loss to Sydney. Victory 2-1

Gold Coast United v Perth,Sunday, 5pm
A tough game for both teams, and probably the game of the week. While Perth haven’t looked especially convincing, I’m convinced this is the week they will step up, and hurt Gold Coast on the counter. So watch this game, and see my prediction come true. Perth 1-0
