That said, I don't think the A-League is ready for promotion/relegation. The MLS isn't ready for promotion/relegation. Focus on the slow, steady expansion first; then work on getting the salary cap to a point where the guys at the bottom are making a decent living and the guys at the top have a reason not to leave. THEN you can start thinking about teaching a nation about promotion/relegation, but the roots need to be firmly in place before any of that. Great post, and great looking blog!
