Hey guys this is Marcus from the Melbourne Offside, I’m just helping Kieran out as he is a lazy scummy Man U fan bogged down with school work, everyone knows how bad that is.
The video above has been taken from JayFCAK47 (best youtuber for anything A-League), and is his view on the top 30 goals in the history of the A-League. They certinally do bring back memories and they are some absolute gems.
My personal favourtie are:
5. Archie Thompson, when he dribbled past four defenders to score.
4. Nicky Carle storming down the middle of the pitch and finishing with a brilliant effort while surrounded by defenders.
3. Joel Griffths free kick against Melbourne, the postage stamp, right in the top corner. Very few can do that.
2. Nicky Ward’s effort against Sydney. I was at that game and he just came on, got the ball and finished like that to make it level.
1. Matt McKay!! I remember that goal like it happened yesterday, just lifts it enough but not to much….love it.
